CCI graduates and in-service chefs can sit for the Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Level Trade Test for Chinese Chef* at CCI to concurrently gain two certificates. Students can also apply for the examination of Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering offered by the UK-based Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), which will elevate their professionalism and competitive edge.

The Chinese Master Chef programme is also available for in-service chefs with a minimum of 12 years’ Chinese catering experience, on recommendation from industry-related organisations.

Remarks:
*Applicants who sit for Elementary Level Trade Test for Chinese Chef must be in-service chefs with at least five years of Chinese culinary working experience and hold the Hygiene Supervisor Certificate, recognised by the Hong Kong’s Food and Environment Hygiene Department.

*Applicants who sit for the Intermediate Level Trade Test for Chinese Chef must be in-service chefs with at least six years of Chinese culinary working experience and hold the Hygiene Supervisor Certificate, recognised by Hong Kong’s Food and Environmental Hygiene Department.

*Applicants who sit for the Advanced Level Trade Test for Chinese Chef must be in-service chefs with at least nine years of Chinese culinary working experience and hold the Hygiene Manager Certificate, recognised by Hong Kong’s Food and Environmental Hygiene Department
